Winter Wedding | Neenah, WI

Mara and Jake got married on Groundhog’s Day, and while I haven’t relived it every day since then, it was fun looking back at their photos to put this blog post together. Mara and Jake spent the morning getting ready separately but they passed handwritten notes back and forth with each other up until it was time for them to say their vows. We all stayed warm inside until after the ceremony when we ventured out into the snow for a few photos and a little snowball fight between the wedding party. The cardboard version of Bill Murray made a well loved surprise appearance at the reception. Mara’s mom also surprised all three of her daughters with Ashley Daniel’s book How to Get Pregnant. Some hints are a little less subtle than others. Mara and Jake must have read the book from cover to cover, because we are meeting soon for Mara’s maternity photos!
